Donation $8/adult or $20/family
Traditional American dances taught and led by master caller Tim Jenkins.
Live music by area string bands:

Silent auction to benefit the Great River Folk Festival.

Note: This dance has become so popular that it threatens to burst the hall this year. We may have to close the doors if it looks like we’ll seriously surpass building capacity. COME EARLY in the evening to be sure you’ll get in!
(2) Help Wanted: Webmaster
Our dear longtime webmistress Deb Wyatt is moving into a well-deserved retirement. Though it will be tough to fill her shoes, we’re looking for someone to redesign and/or help maintain the Fest website. This might be
- An entity that does websites, and would do this for us “in-kind” in exchange for a sponsorship. Perks include ads, mentions, and tickets to the Fest.
- A retiree or stay-at-home parent, somebody with the time and also some expertise doing this for another organization. Full Fest admission and our undying love.
- A student of web design who could do this as a project and pass it along to the committee to maintain. (Would have to be easy & foolproof software.)
If you are interested or could give us a lead, please contact administrator Karen Houlihan at (608) 784-3033 or grff@greatriverfolkfest.org.
(3) Follow the Fest on Facebook
While we’re between webmasters you can check for updates on our Facebook page. Non-Facebook users can access the page; it is set up to be accessible to the public. Just google Great River Folk Festival and choose the link that sends you to the Facebook page. Thanks for your patience.
