WE ARE GREAT RIVER FOLK FEST
The Great River Folk Festival is the longest running nonprofit music festival in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The Mission of the Great River Folk Festival is to celebrate and cultivate folk culture rooted in the Driftless Region by uniting independent artists and community.

Vision: We aim to nurture community through inclusive outreach for all ages as we curate experiential celebrations of folk arts in
La Crosse, WI and the surrounding area.

Our Story
To some, it seems old fashioned to call ourselves a folk festival. According to the Oxford Dictionary, folk describes traditional art or culture of a community or nation. We still believe there is no better way to describe our purpose Great River Folk Fest. We are here to celebrate the music, art, food, and tradition of the people from all cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Are you here for it too?
