Alex Toast

Alex Toast grew up in the La Crosse area, moved West for ten years, and came back with changed perspectives on everything. His music infuses elements of percussive fingerstyle guitar with folky math rock, giving his music a truly unique sound. His introspective lyrics are carried by layers of rhythmic smacks, progressive chords, and lead guitar. They offer a hopeful view of the future and the now. Alex was a finalist at last year’s Songwriters Contest and is currently a volunteer for the Fest.
