Sara Vos

Sarah is primarily known for her work in Dead Horses, a Milwaukee indie-folk band that she formed with her friend, Dan Wolfe, in 2010. Dead Horses played the Fest in 2015 and 2016. Sarah also has a side-gig, playing with Adam Greuel (frontperson of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades) in Rucksack Revolution. She was raised in a strict fundamentalist home, had a very turbulent youth, and music, initially, helped her deal with her trauma. She is a survivor, and as she has matured as a songwriter, she writes songs that are full of hope and compassion, as she searches for beauty in a world where it’s not always evident.
